Crisis Resource Center
The mission of the Crisis Resource Center is to follow God’s command to care for the least and the lost by providing our guests a grace-filled path towards a fulfilling life that allows them to contribute positively to their community.
Completely run and staffed by volunteers, it is funded by local donations from individuals, churches, and businesses in the community.

Shelters
Cally’s House and Ruth’s House were born from our community’s wish to be able to provide temporary shelter to individuals and families in crisis in our community. Cally’s House opened in September 2019 and Ruth’s House was purchased in April 2021. Both are owned and operated by J.O.Y.
Food
Pantry
The Crisis Resource Center provides emergency food bags that include three simple pre-prepared meals for individuals. J.O.Y. stresses that food is the most fundamental and basic need of our clients, and provides that foundational security for those in crisis.

Assistance
J.O.Y. works to help individuals stay in their homes by providing financial assistance with rent or utilities (if funds are available for that month). This assistance ensures security, and clients may apply for it once a year only. Approval is based on assessment and availability.
