Kids Camp
J.O.Y. Kids Camp is a summer camp for at-risk kids in Adair county. Students receive training in life skills, exercise, healthy eating, music and the arts, academic preparation, and the Christian faith. We are grateful to Kosair for Kids for helping us fund this program.
Holiday
Ministry
J.O.Y. provides meals and backpacks to local families during the holiday season, as well as basic Christmas gifts to children recommended to us by others in the community. If you are interested in donating to these efforts, please follow us on our Facebook page and watch for announcements made to our volunteers.
Imagination
Library
J.O.Y. is the local sponsor of Imagination Library, an effort of the Dolly Parton Foundation. This organization provides free books for parents to read to their babies and children. If you are interested in donating to specifically to Imagination Library, please add a note with your donation to let us know.
Mission
Week
Mission Week is designed to be a mixture of hard work, spiritual growth, and God-glorifying fun. Youth who attend leave with a renewed excitement about what Jesus Christ is doing in their lives and an increased hunger to serve God and one another in love.
Relief
Efforts
J.O.Y. has been a local drop point and a partner for numerous local and non-local mission activities, including hurricane and other natural disaster relief efforts.
